He has worked as a Business owner and Civil Engineer for 17 years in the north Tarrant area and understands
the difficulties that local cities have maintaining infrastructure. He also understands the
history surrounding local infrastructure deficiencies especially transportation and is
prepared to engage the issue productively from the start. He will work hard on the funding so tax increases will not be needed. It’s a matter of priorities.

He is a conservative committed to fiscal restraint in State (and all other) Government.
This restraint will have to start in the Republican Party. We need to reduce spending and
genuinely cap spending at a level consistent with population growth and inflation. The
size of government should not be tied to the economy but instead, should be tied to its
rightful scope of duties.

As Chairman of the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Department Civil Service Commission, he worked very effectively across party lines to achieve a better set of Civil Service rules for
the Sheriff’s employees which they deserved. He works well with people and is an effective negotiator.
-
He is pro-life both personally and politically. This is not just a political issue for him.
He and his family actively support organizations that help women in unplanned pregnancy
and believes that a continuing dialogue in the public square is essential to hopefully win the day when our society agrees that abortion has no place in a noble human culture.

He will show respect to all constituents, even those who disagree with his views and
stay in touch with the district.
